Today, UpShift Nutrition is proud to announce its partnership with the British elite cycling team previously known as Active Edge Race Team [22nd June 2020]. As of today, UpShift Nutrition has taken over as naming sponsor of the team and we look forward to seeing the UpShift Nutrition Racing Team on the top step of the podium once racing resumes post-pandemic.

The riders will be utilising the entire product range (EDGE, SUSTAIN, RESET) with a focus on improving all aspects of their fuelling strategy as they take on both the domestic and continental elite cycling season.

Neil Washington, Director at UpShift Nutrition said: “We are looking forward to supporting and working alongside the race team. We are a high-performance nutrition brand focused on human performance, so the partnership with the elite race team is a natural one. The opportunity to work with Sam Woodfield and the riders allows us to not only develop new products to help our customers but also help the UpShift Nutrition RT athletes to a new level of performance using our background in nutrition optimisation.”

The partnership follows on from several seasons of success with what was previously known as Active Edge RT. Since 2018 the team has gone from strength to strength supporting athletes from a range of nationalities with the ethos of a holistic training approach. Something very important to us here at UpShift Nutrition.

“Once we are past the difficulties of the COVID-19 outbreak we are looking forward to launching the team at the official launch event held at fellow sponsor Cooper BMW’s (Colchester) showroom. Until then, the team will be following the social distancing rules whilst continuing their training towards the race season” Says Marketing Manager Toby Atkins.
